Great product for beekeepers

Works great to prevent the bees from drowning. Add 1 teaspoon of salt per gallon of water to provide sodium for the bees.

Buy the one that is durable and safe for bees

I bought this in a bundle along with the smaller bee-shaped float. This one is 11” in diameter and floats in a 14” diameter Byer of Maine birdbath on a stand. I had noticed the bees were trying to drink from the birdbath but would fall in and struggle. This solved the problem and turned the birdbath into a bee and butterfly watering station. It is durable, floats as intended, and the bees use it daily. Easy to clean when we change out the water daily. It is more expensive than the cheaper foam floats, but this is a bee safe material and I expect it to last longer as it feels more durable.
